Welcome – I am so honored you’re here.
If you’re reading this, your embodiment session is officially on the calendar. This isn’t like booking a typical photo session, and I don’t want to treat it like one. This is about you – reclaiming your image, remembering yourself, seeing who’s been there all along. Here’s what to expect between now and your session.
Your Questionnaire
The first thing I’ll send you is a questionnaire – and I want you to take your time with it. This isn’t a logistics form. I’m going to ask about your why. What brought you here. What season of life you’re in. What makes you feel most like yourself, and what’s been getting in the way of that lately. The more honest you are with me here, the more honest the images will be. This is where your session actually begins – not on the day of the shoot, but in the quiet moment you sit down and really think about your answers.
Concept Building
No two women who come to me are the same, and no two sessions should look the same either. Once I have your questionnaire, I build your concept from scratch – around you, not around a trend or a template. The same way I approach my portrait and engagement work, this is fully collaborative. I’ll send over a concept pitch reflecting the themes, energy, and visual language I’m envisioning for you specifically, and we’ll refine it together until it feels completely right.

Styling
Your styling should feel like an extension of who you are – or who you’re stepping into. Sometimes that means we pull from your own closet and elevate it. Sometimes it means finding one specific piece that changes everything. This isn’t about looking like someone else’s idea of beautiful. It’s about finding what makes you feel most like yourself in front of the camera – whether that’s soft and quiet, or bold and unapologetic, or something in between.
Lighting & Location
This is where embodiment sessions get to be really different from anything else I shoot – and honestly, it’s some of my favorite work I do.
Some women want the outdoors – open air, natural light, the land itself as part of the story. Others want the intimacy of being at home, in their own space, surrounded by what’s familiar. And some want something completely unexpected – and I love that most of all. An old vintage truck. A mechanic’s workshop. A bowling alley at golden hour. The more offbeat, the more I light up. These unconventional locations aren’t just backdrops – they become part of your story, adding texture and contrast that a typical studio session never could.
Wherever we shoot, the light is chosen with intention – matching the mood we’re building, not just what’s convenient. This is your session, so the setting should feel like an honest reflection of you, not a decision made for you.
Session Day
Session day is guided, but it’s yours. I’ll direct you through movement and prompts designed to bring out real emotion, not performance – but I’m also watching closely for the moments that happen in between, the ones that can’t be prompted. Those unscripted seconds are often where the most powerful images come from. My job is to hold space for both: the intentional and the unguarded.

Gallery Delivery
Once your session wraps, I get to work editing your full gallery with the same depth and care I bring to every project – color, tone, the kind of layered editing that makes a gallery feel like a complete story, not just a batch of individual photos. I’ll let you know your delivery timeline once we wrap your session.
Albums & Prints
I’d genuinely encourage you to consider printing from this session. These aren’t just pretty photos – they’re proof. Proof of a season, a reclaiming, a version of yourself you may not have fully seen before. That deserves to exist somewhere more permanent than a gallery link or a hard drive. You’ll be able to design and order prints or an album directly from your gallery, produced through reputable, industry-leading printers so I can guarantee the quality of what you receive.

I’m Here Throughout
If you have questions, doubts, or just need to talk through anything as your session approaches – email me, text me, reach out. This process can bring up a lot, and I don’t take that lightly. I’m here for all of it, not just the day of your shoot.
I can’t wait to see who you remember yourself to be.
